Articles a - an (Games + Pre-Activity) - Grammar

This product will guide your ESL students to discover the rules of using the articles "a" and "an" . Then, students will practice applying these rules through four engaging games.

Included in this product:

• Pre-Activity - Discover the rules (17 pages): instead of providing an immediate explanation of the grammar rule, present the students a series of sentences (14 possibilities) or a short story (3 short stories). Students must then try to find the rules by analyzing the examples.

• Post-Activity - Games (24 pages): four games with instructions (teacher's guide) and answer keys. The games can be added to learning centers.
  • Game #1: Add the correct article before the word and match the word with the correct picture (cards).
