French Pronouns Game - Quel Dommage!

Once students know how to use French pronouns they will have a great time practicing them this this hands on game: QUEL DOMMAGE!! This is a complete pronoun review game that includes direct and indirect object pronouns and the adverbial pronouns Y and EN. This game is a perfect review for French 2 and 3. Detailed instructions are included so that your students can play even when you need to be away and a sub has your class.

How to play: All you have to do is print the game cards on heavy paper or card stock and cut them out. Put all of the game pieces in a box and divide your students into small teams. Give each team gets a box of questions and a copy of the answer key.

Students must replace the underlined words in the sentences with pronouns and say the sentence correctly. When they are correct, they get to keep their game card. However, when they draw a QUEL DOMMAGE card they have to put all of their game cards back in the box. The student with the most game cards at the end is the winner.

This game includes sentences in the present, passé composé, imperfect and future tenses.

5 QUEL DOMMAGE cards - You don’t have to include them all in the game if you feel there are too many.

30 numbered game cards - Black and white and color versions provided.
