Develop comprehension, listening and speaking skills - Talk To The Aliens
Reading Comprehension Game:
20 cards of "Talk To The Aliens."
How to play:
1. Have a die.
2. Place the cards on the table.
3. Listen to or read "Talk To The Aliens."
4. A student chooses a card and reads the question.
5. The other student answers the question.
6. If the answer is correct, the student rolls the die and records the point on their sheet.
7. Each student, in turn, reads a card.
8. The student who accumulates the most points wins!

framework.
Instructions:
- Listen to the mp3 – QAaliens.mp3 or MoreQAaliens.mp3
- Pause after each question.
- Allow the student to answer the question orally.
- Together, listen to the possible answer.
- Together, use rubrics to evaluate the students speaking skills.
Rubrics
Rubrics to assess speaking skills in five areas:
Grammar, Vocabulary, Pronunciation, Fluency, and Coherence.
Each category is rated on a scale of 1-5, with descriptions for each level.
Use these rubrics to holistically evaluate speaking performance and identify
specific areas for improvement
