This unit helps students explore the world of video games while practicing English reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. Students will learn and use vocabulary connected to video games (characters, actions, places, and objects). They will practice important grammar points such as can/can’t and there is/there are to describe what characters can do and what exists in a game.
Through fun activities—like reading short texts about popular games, writing their own game descriptions, and discussing their favorite characters—students will improve their ability to:

Understand short texts about video games.

Use functional language to describe actions and places in games.

Speak and write about their favorite games using correct grammar.

Work together by asking and answering questions about video games.
At the end of the unit, students will create a short presentation or piece of writing describing a video game world, showing what characters can/can’t do and what there is/are in the game.
