Winter Games Host - LES - ESL - Cycle 3
Engage your students in a high-interest ESL project where they become Olympic city planners. In this Winter Olympics learning and evaluation situation, students explore real Olympic host cities, learn targeted vocabulary, and complete an individual final project where they invent their own Winter Olympic host city.
Through reading, planning, writing, drawing, and speaking, students develop their English skills while completing a meaningful final task: designing a city map and giving directions in English.
