FSL / FLE FRENCH-SPEAKING COUNTRIES BEGINNER FRENCH INTERMEDIATE FRENCH FRENCH-SPEAKING COUNTRIES, CAPITAL CITIES AND FLAGS WORKSHEETS Perfect for exploring the French-speaking world - La Francophonie and ideal for cross-curricular learning in French class, aligning French and geography.

These French-speaking countries, capitals and flags worksheets are suitable for a broad range of learning phases range, at any time during the school year, and particularly at the beginning of a French learning programme. Students can develop their knowledge of the geography and scope of La Francophonie in a cooperative, communicative and interactive way, independently of the teacher. At the same time, students are developing their French language skills, with a focus on reading, writing and spelling.

The worksheets are ideal for whole-group, small-group / center or paired learning activities, and individually they are also great as bell ringers / starters for French class. Revisit regularly to maximise the learning potential. It’s useful to screen a world map before students engage with the activity, so that they can visualise the location of the continents, countries and capital cities, which provides an important context for their learning.

The set contains countries / territories where French is an official language. There are 18 worksheets in total. There is an alphabetical reference list featuring countries, capital cities, continent and national flag. All the worksheets are in random, rather than alphabetical order for maximum challenge. Together, the differentiated challenges ensure students will really embed and consolidate their knowledge of La Francophonie.
