These grammar worksheets are designed to be done independently, with minimal explanation, making them ideal for multi-level groups or classrooms with a mix of skill levels. They’re ideal for intermediate learners who have already mastered the basic grammar rules (as covered in my ESL Grammar Book available in my store). Last year, I had students in an intensive English program who were doing it for the second year, and they were able to complete these worksheets on their own while I introduced new grammar concepts to beginners.

Each activity is associated with a specific learning target that outlines what learners should achieve through their engagement in that activity. Students are required to read the target prior to starting the activity, and upon finishing it, they must assess their own performance. These worksheets were tested in my classroom, and they have proven to be a resounding success! I made sure the worksheets address common areas of difficulty when learning a second language and that they provide ample practice opportunities.
