This resource is based on If I Built a School, written by New York Times Best Seller Author Chris Van Dusen.
In this resource, your students will get to "build" their own school! There are 8 elements to create by writing and drawing. Each of those pages include useful vocabulary related to the room. There are two versions: with and without prompt.
- Outside the Building
- The Lobby
- The Classrooms
- A New Class (students choose a new class for the school)
- Gym Class
- The Cafeteria
- The Playground
- Field Trips (Students decide where their class would go on a field trip)
My students absolutely LOVED doing this!
