ESL speaking basic questions of the day review

This ESL ELL English resource helps to review basic vocabulary with a daily question. Start your class off each day with a warm up question of the day or activity. It is a great way to get students talking and help you to establish a low stress routine with no extra prep. 

This resource can be used for whole class discussion, centers, or partner activities. Students get an opportunity to practice the vocabulary both orally and written with Questions of the day.

Many of the “Warm up” activities can be done within a notebook. It is recommended that you pick a “teacher of the day” to ask the questions to the class for even more oral practice. This also helps with substitute preparation when you have an established routine.
