Kids will love to learn to trace numbers while being guided by a little caterpillar. This product focuses on tracing numbers (0 to 9), as well as on counting (1 to 10) and sequencing (1 to 10). There is plenty of room on the sheets for the little hands to practice tracing numbers – the numbers are large enough for young children in order to learn proper number formation, aided by directional arrows on the first number of each page. The tracing sheets are followed by several activities that put emphasis on counting and sequencing.

• Sequencing numbers – 1 à 10 (pages 18-24)

How to use this product?

This resource has been created in support of enhancing early math and writing skills while also focusing on fine motor skills at the early stage of development in young children. There are directional arrows on the first number of each tracing sheet in order for children to learn proper number formation. The sequencing activity with the glue stick will also enable children to use their fine muscles. This resource can be used in a math center, during morning routines, or as extra practice. It is also a great resource for substitutes.
