✏️ Resource 1: Practice math mats (40 pages)
Learning to write numbers and their names is a lot of fun! With the math mats provided in this resource, young children will be engaged while training their fine muscles and building their early math and writing skills. These practice math mats (numbers 1 to 20) will enable children to trace, count, colour, build blocks and/or dot with Play-Doh in order to strengthen their math skills. It sounds like fun, doesn’t it?
This resource contains 40 math mats with the practice of the following skills on each:
1st set (20 math mats):
- Tracing a number (with arrows that show proper number formation)
- Tracing its number name (with arrows that show proper letter formation)
- Colouring objects (learning the representation of quantity)
- Representing the number by math cubes (stackable blocks)
2nd set (20 math mats):
This set has been added to the resource in order to provide flexibility to educators. It is the same as the 1st set with the only difference that instead of the math cubes, children can use Play-Doh or dot markers in order to represent the number by dots.
✏️ Resource 2: Worksheets (20 pages)
Kids will love to learn to trace numbers while being guided by a little caterpillar. This product focuses on tracing numbers (0 to 9), as well as on counting (1 to 10) and sequencing (1 to 10). There is plenty of room on the sheets for the little hands to practice tracing numbers – the numbers are large enough for young children in order to learn proper number formation, aided by directional arrows on the first number of each page. The tracing sheets are followed by several activities that put emphasis on counting and sequencing.
This resource contains 20 pages with the practice of the following skills:
- Tracing numbers – 0 à 9
- Counting animals – 1 à 10
- Sequencing numbers – 1 à 10
✏️ Resource 3: Connect the dots (20 pages)
Kids love to connect the dots! It’s a great way for children to reinforce their understanding of number order. This resource contains 20 pages of the same activity: connecting the dots (1 to 20) in order to create images of animals and fruits. Children can also colour in the images after they finish connecting the numbers in the right order.
