'H' muet et 'h' aspiré
This digital product offers you 2 different ways for your students to test their skills when it comes to words beginning with ‘h muet’ or ‘h aspiré’. Many students, even at the later stage in their FSL learning, struggle with differentiating between these two types of letter ‘h’ in French. The activities are engaging and self-checking. Thus, it will help your students get immediate feedback on their skills. The slides or cards come with audio when applicable. It can be used at the junior and intermediate levels (French Immersion), as well as at the intermediate and senior levels (Core French). This resource can be used in a center, as an independent assignment or as a bell-work activity.

What are Boom Cards?
Boom Cards are self-checking, interactive digital task cards that student can use on Boom Learning’s platform. They are created by professionals, such as teachers, speech language pathologists, etc. in order to provide an engaging way for students to learn remotely or in person. They are an amazing asset for a classroom as Boom Cards creators can embed a variety of tools, such as words, images, and even sounds to their decks. Therefore, second language learners could greatly benefit from using Boom Cards.
How to use Boom Cards? (taken directly from Boom Learning’s site)
“To use Boom Cards, you must be connected to the Internet. Boom Cards play on modern browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge). Apps are available for modern Android, iPads, iPhones, and Kindle Fires. For security and privacy, adults must have an account to use and assign Boom Cards. You will be able to assign the Boom Cards you are buying with "Fast Pins," (a form of play that gives instant feedback to students for self-grading Boom Cards). For assignment options that report student progress back to you, you will need to purchase a subscription. If you are new to Boom, you will be offered a free trial.
