This product contains a Powerpoint and worksheets, each of which contain a lesson and exercises on the masculine and feminine forms of temporal durations.
The lesson explains how the masculine form (matin, après-midi, soir, jour, an) designates countable units, whereas the feminine form (matinée, après-midi, soirée, journée, année) designates a longer and lived duration.
Five initial exercises to confirm student understanding and ten exercises give sentences where the student circle the masculine or feminine form, according to the context.
In the following ten exercises, the students read a sentence and determine if the correct duration term has been used. If not, they re-write the sentence using the correct duration.
