Motivational Oral Interaction/Speaking Task Cards

These conversation starters about various topics targeting teens' interests are ideal for speaking activities, but you can use them as writing prompts. Ideal for ESL/ELA students. Task cards (questions) have been tested on students who were engaged throughout the oral interaction activity. I have used these speaking prompts task cards in both core and enriched ESL classes (intermediate, upper-intermediated and advanced students).

• 12 task cards about mixed topics that will motivate your students to talk/interact (questions related to teenagers' life, experience)

⭐Expectations during oral interaction/discussion:

• expressing one's opinion in a detailed manner
• participating in the discussion
• using functional language
• agreeing and disagreeing

You can laminate these cards to preserve them and reuse them year after year.
