Imperfect tense French ER Verbs - Primary French conjugation chains - Cut and paste
This literacy center or independent work activity for primary core French or primary French immersion is a fun, hands-on way for your students to practice conjugating 35 different regular French verbs in the imperfect tense. Each verb page has ten strips to cut out. The first one is for the student's name, and the following nine strips are for conjugating JE - TU - IL - ELLE - ON - NOUS - VOUS - ILS - ELLES. Students begin by filling in the blanks to add the correct imperfect tense endings. The number of letters needed for the endings is indicated by the number of blanks provided to help students while learning or reviewing conjugations. Next, they cut out the strips and paste them together forming conjugation chains. They'll love hanging them up around the classroom!
