THEMATIC TASK CARDS: SOCIAL MEDIA

These conversation/speaking task cards contain questions about social media. Use these cards for conversation/debate and/or writing activities to supplement your unit on social media; however, they might be useful as morning work, extra activities, prompts for discussion/debate sessions, writing prompts to practice expressing opinions. Ideal for ESL/EFL/ELA students (ESL/EFL: low-intermediate and above).

⭐The set includes:

• 23 questions about social media

⭐You will find two versions of the discussion cards in the PDF document:

• Task cards designed to be printed on one side of the paper.
• Task cards designed to be printed on both sides of the paper.

Print and laminate these cards for durability. Please note that these cards contain Canadian spelling (e.g. favourite).

⭐The teaching time is an estimate and it depends how often you assign a writing prompt to your students. If your ESL discuss all the questions in depth, they will cover approximately 8 questions during a 15-minute long discussion session.
