The Kindness Project

Hello everyone!

Here is a project about kindness and family. In this project, the students can learn to talk about emotion, feelings and what family is all about. They are going to talk about their family at home, and at school. I use the album Our Class is a Family by Shannon Olsen to talk about the concept. 

This product includes the student document and the ppt presentation for the teacher with all the steps.

The project consists of 6 parts:

-Part one: write and share about your family and what is kindness

Part two: word cloud (you create a word cloud with your students after the discussion in part one)

Part three: read the album (or you can watch a video or read another story about school and family)

Part four: talk about your families (draw and describe them)

Part five: class’ art project (on a house, they write the word that best describes school for them, then you can decide to do a poster with all of the words, personnally, I will assemble the poster after part six).

Part six: oral presentation with the plan. Then you finalize the art part.

I really hope this project will help you bond more with your students and create nice moments in the class.
