Persuasive Writing Project (TV Show Tasting)
This persuasive writing project is a viewing comprehension activity with an engaging media literacy component to engage and motivate your ESL/ELA learners. Students will "taste" the first episode of a few TV shows and will gather relevant and accurate information to show their understanding and to carry out the culminating task. Learners will create a media product using appropriate persuasive writing techniques. This resource can be used as a standalone project or as an extension activity to polish up learners' persuasion skills.
