Pokémon Go! Classroom Management Clip Chart

As teachers we want to create the best learning environment for our students.
We want to make sure they are safe, happy and eager to learn.

When we teach younger students we often use behavior or motivation charts to help them stay on track. Unfortunately most behavior charts unintentionally label the kids as "good" or "bad".

So we asked our students what kind of message they would like to hear when they work hard or when they need to be reminded. They had a lot to say. With their comments and our teaching experience we have designed this Alternative Classroom Management Chart and we asked the kids what they thought about it. Our students said it didn't exclude anyone, they said this chart sends the message "it's gonna be ok", "you can do it", "we don't have to be perfect", "it's ok to make mistakes if you can learn from them", "it's funny, but also serious", "I'm not mad at you" and "we are there for you".
